Meet the Designers

Mother-Daughter Fashion Design duo Rocio Sanchez and Ella Pena of Ella Bella RoZio, have established the perfect alchemy to draw out the beauty in every woman. Finding the perfect couturier to make today’s trendy woman the belle of the ball no longer requires a trip to Paris or Milan, but rather a simple sojourn to Ella Bella RoZio Couture on 246 Miracle Mile in the City Beautiful.

More About Rocio & Ella

Rocio, a fashion designer for more than 35 years, graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology NY, University of Miami (School of Business); Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale (School of Fashion Merchandising); and L’Ecole des Beaux Artes, Paris, France specializing in French Design while interning at the Chanel Atelier. At the young age of 23, Rocio opened her first international RoZio Inc. (EST. 1983), selling to stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and Corte Ingles, Spain. In 1988, she opened the first Couture House on Miracle Mile, specializing in custom-designed bridal dresses and evening wear with showrooms in NY, LA, Dallas, and Miami.

Rocio’s daughter, Ella, who grew up in the world of fashion and shared this passion for the arts, also embarked in the field of Fashion Design. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design from Miami International University of Art and Design, as well as a Theater and Communications major from Pepperdine University, Malibu California. As a graduation gift, in 2009 Rocio changed her RoZio Couture label to Ella Bella RoZio, to share partnership with her designer daughter Ella. The two make a perfect combination; years of experience combined with fresh new talent. The creative, marketing and visual team is run by Rocio’s talented son Fernando Tello. The family owned and operated business continues designing in Coral Gables for Brides, Celebrities and Red Carpet affairs worldwide!

Rocio’s 35 plus years of experience as an international fashion label and her daughter’s modern sensibility of what today’s fashionable woman needs, gives the duo an unsurpassed edge in the fashion industry where they continue to specialize in custom Wedding Dresses, Mother of the Bride gowns, Bridal Party Dresses, Red Carpet gowns, and all other special occasions.

The two have not forgotten to give back to the community for their success!

The Institute of Fashion was created in 2006 by the vision of International Fashion Designer, Rocio. She believed that children and young adults needed an outlet to express their creativity and passion for fashion that was never available to her as a child.  In 2006 they opened the doors of their atelier to help tomorrow’s young designers tap into their creative ability and immerse themselves first- hand into the amazing world of fashion. Future designers learn the complete concept of collection design, textiles, garment construction, and even runway modeling! They also offer portfolio classes to prepare young students into Fashion Universities around the world.

Their award winning Institute of Fashion has educated hundreds of students in the field of fashion.
